After signing the purchase agreement, the buyer receives a copy. The buyer then has a three-day statutory cooling-off period and can still cancel the purchase. The contract may also contain contingencies, such as a financing clause.

Step 7 – Transfer at the notary

On the day of delivery, the official transfer of ownership, including the handover of keys, takes place at the notary's office. This ensures the sale of your home is fully completed in accordance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
